Description

Nestled near the river, this charming establishment presents a cozy yet lively ambiance, perfect for both drinks and dining. Patrons rave about the excellent fish and chips, alongside a delightful selection of reasonably priced beers and cocktails. The interior, adorned with beautiful decor and candles, sets the stage for a memorable meal. While the quality of food is mostly commendable, service inconsistency often detracts from the experience, as hasty bill presentations can leave diners feeling rushed. Nonetheless, many appreciate the attentive staff and vibrant atmosphere, making it a popular spot for locals and visitors alike.

This may have been one of the most disrespectful experiences I have had at a restaurant. I was sitting at a table, enjoying a drink, when an older man informed me I needed to leave because the table was "reserved for ladies". There was no sign indicating the table was reserved, and there were no other available seats in the bar. It was disappointing to receive such poor service, especially since I was enjoying the atmosphere of the pub as a visitor to the area.

We were invited to a private party in the Rose. Must say that all employees were really nice and worked extremely hard. The food was hot and delicious. Beautiful views of the Thames

Wow, this place is really one of the most beautiful pubs I was in London. Fabulous food at a reasonable price, very friendly staff and incredible ambience with cozy lighting and old Sinatra standards play all night. Felt like a cozy jazz bar in New York! Very recommended

We arrived with a group of 10 without reservation. The place was full, but they did their best to welcome us. They had lack of personnel in the kitchen, so we had to wait 45 minutes before we could order food, but they were open and honest about it when we arrived. My food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. Very recommended.

I absolutely adore this pub! It's in a great location and has a good variety of beers and cocktails. The fish and chips were outstanding and the prices were reasonable compared to other places in the city. The service was prompt and the staff was attentive. At 1:30, a live jazz duo performed on stage, adding to the great atmosphere. Overall, I highly recommend this place.
