Guests often rave about the delicious food, affordable prices, and friendly staff, particularly praising team members like Ayla and Lewis for their welcoming demeanor and attentive service. However, some patrons raised concerns about being rushed during meals and inconsistent service, particularly with respect to table bookings and the restaurant’s dog-friendly policy. Despite these drawbacks, many loyal customers continue to return, highlighting the establishment as a staple with a rich history of positive dining experiences. Overall, it remains a venue worth visiting for its culinary delights.
We had our engagement party there on Sunday .The food was good Rob and Louis staff were an amazing management team. Everyone had a great time.
Ayla is always so friendly and welcoming. Menu has been updated and improved, I had chicken and avocado salad which was lovely. Others had roast dinners potatoes were great, food always is good value. Have been dining in Alleyn's Head for years.
Once again, cannot fault the service at the Alleyns Head, Rob and all his staff, Lewis, Ayla, Joyce (our waitress, who was superb) and Alexia always make us feel so welcome and special, the food is always first class (I have to mention the kitchen staff, Alex, Cleo, Josh and Jess). Really good value for money and a fantastic choice of food and drinks. Would highly recommend The Alleyns Head for any occasion or just for a drink in a very friendly atmosphere.
We visited the restaurant yesterday for a family birthday celebration with a group of 12. Ayla is exceptionally friendly and welcoming, truly an asset to the establishment. The food and drinks were reasonably priced and well presented. We particularly enjoyed the meat gravy and roast potatoes.
Lovely atmosphere, reasonably priced and amazing staff. Fantastic offers on drinks on Thursdays and Sundays . Very nice background music.
