This was my second visit... formerly for lunch with my wife, this time to me... Coffee and cakes. Café Florence is a jewel of site ... small, but full of everything that is good about the culture of coffee. Coffee is excellent, the variety and quality of food is exceptional and service is a delight. I haven't stopped thinking about the rich chocolate and coconut and the mini Pistachio cream-Horn all day! View all feedback.
What privatejo doesn't like about Cafe Florence:
When I returned the following week and ordered a bacon sandwich and coffee, I was informed that breakfast hours had ended. After paying, I requested to purchase a small piece of Cajun chicken breast for my sick relative at Kings College Hospital. The dark-haired lady rudely refused, but the blonde lady insisted that I purchase the chicken in a wrap with salad. I did not want it that way and was prepared to pay for it... View all feedback.
Teally nice helpful couple. we ere putti g a scafgold near ny and she gave us a bag of sugar, as wr wete on for 5 or 6 tees per day.
It does not seem to be a popular place, but its selection of food is quite huge. I had the foccacia with falafel and veggies was not too hard or dry, definitiw tasteful. I had also made a fruity milkshake fresh and quite thick, instead of milky, if that is as they like it. they have a lot of cake and Italian desserts like cannolis and sfogliatelle of some sorts. I had the cannoli elsewhere and was not too happy so I tried the other with pistache filling. it was something different. the staff is polite, but not friendly. Maybe they have another experience. their prices are decent. I'm coming back to a meal this time.
Beautiful hotel, eating is very nice and personal are very friendly
Really good coffee and a fantastic quiche here once. please go and support this beautiful independent caffe.
I did not want it that way and was prepared to pay for it separately. The lack of customer service was evident, and I felt unwelcome as a regular customer. I was disappointed by their attitude and the failure to accommodate my simple request. I will not be returning to this place and would instead choose a different restaurant where I am sure to receive better service and a smile from the staff.
