Current pandemic restrictions meant that sitting inside is not possible, but fortunately there are tables and benches outside, next to a wall with a mural of dinosaurs on a train! Instead of ’BLT’, the menu had ‘BRAT’ ! for Bacon, Rocket, Avo cado and Tomato. I had a sausage and egg roll with the rocket and tomato, so perhaps the acronym for that should be ’BERT’ Bangers, Egg, Rocket and Tomato ? Anyway, friendly sta... View all feedback.
What Bellawilltellya doesn't like about Brown And Green At The Station:
I have been a regular customer to this place for the past 6 months and up until recently I have been extremely satisfied. However over the past few weeks I've been left really disappointed that your new member of staff can't seem to grasp the idea of a well done sausage!! Instead served me an inedible undercooked grey looking mess of sandwich!! £3.25 for a sausage butty feeling ripped off!! View all feedback.
Such a great find good strong coffee and lovely food. Staff friendly and asked if I was in a rush for my train which I was! Coffee found me in time thanks!

I went in today at 2:30 and tried to order a bacon and and egg sandwich only to be told they were only doing soup or paninis, this is not the first time this has happened ! Either cook what's on the menu or reduce the menu.
The key to a station cafe is to serve in a timely manner as people are naturally trying to catch trains. On 3 occasions now I've had to leave without my coffee because my train arrived despite entering with 5 mins plus to spare. They are unbearably slow and laid back, the guy with the long hair in particular seems timo drift around taking an age over everything and showing no urgency at all. I would recommend avoiding if you have a train to catch!
Have been here several times, coming back for the Halloumi butties which are about the best sandwich on the planet. As a vegetarian I just love them. Coffee is good too as are the cakes. Well worth a visit!
