I booked the hall in the basement of Sidelines Lambertville for my Mother's funeral reception. I was originally leery using a basement, but I was pleasantly surprised. The stairs going down are wide, and the hall is clean and bright. There is plenty of seating, and it has its own bar. The GM (Bryce, right? Sorry if I got your name wrong! took care of everything. He even kept the food warm for us when we ran a little later than expected. Everyone enjoyed the food (hot food was served hot, cold food cold, as it should be . Would definitely use this space again. Expect to pay for catering, it wasn't cheap but the food is good quality and tasted great. My only negative? No bathroom in the hall, you have to go upstairs.
Had an uncooked chicken breast tonight. No thanks, I don't want to die of salmonella. It might be kinda acceptable if it was only once, but I also had uncooked chicken at the Mellwood site, and another time a moldy bun at the Mellwood site. I don't want to come here but my SO keeps making me, but no more...I will NEVER eat at any Sidelines again. I will tell everyone I know to NEVER eat at a Sidelines again.
So during the pandemic once we felt safe to order out we have been trying to help our small local businesses. Sidelines being close we have ordered from them a few times. And while the staff has been great and helpful the food has not been the same. It's not every time we order but enough that it's brought me here. Tonight's order consisted of a side of Mac n cheese that I was up charged $2 for and my sons easy Mac comes with more than what I got! I got more fries that I paid 69 cents for! Disappointed to say the least
Katie is an outstanding server! Make sure to visit her on Thursdays and Fridays. She was extremely friendly, and the food was delicious.
