Nestled in a charming locale, this chef-owned bistro tantalizes diners with its exceptional French cuisine, showcasing stellar dishes like gnocchi and expertly cooked meats. However, expect a mixed experience as the restaurant prepares for much-needed renovations. While the food often shines, service can falter, with delays and inattentiveness reported. The intimate setting creates a romantic atmosphere, though noise levels can detract from conversation. Online menus require updates to match pricing, and some dishes have fallen short in quality. Overall, the culinary delights promise a rewarding visit, particularly once renovations enhance the dining experience. Reservations are recommended.

What Barbara Sommerer dislikes about D'floret:
Just moved to the area. Food was terrific, service was attentive. Surprisingly small portions for the price. Only complaint: You sit so close together, it’s impossible to not hear every word, of every conversation near you. Go super early or very late to enjoy your dinner mates company. So many other options, I doubt we’ll be back. View all feedback.

My wife and I had a truly memorable experience last night at D’Floret. We have been wanting to dine here for quite some time and were lucky to get a reservation as this is a very limited seating restaurant! Well it was well worth the wait. The ambiance and service were fantastic. The food was quite possibly one of the top meals I’ve had at a restaurant in New Jersey. My wife had the rouget barbet and I had the wild boar. Both were impeccably cooked, seasoned masterfully, and creatively prepared. The gnocchi were rolled to order and cooked with perfection, topped with fresh shaved black truffles really took it over the top. If I could give this place six stars I would!
We had an exceptional dining experience at this restaurant. The food, especially the branzino, was cooked perfectly and was the best we have ever had. The service was attentive and friendly, without being overbearing. The cozy atmosphere of the small dining room was inviting and the pricing was very fair. I would highly recommend this restaurant and can't wait to return. Overall rating: Food 5, Service 5, Atmosphere 5.
The food was so delicious and cooked right in front of us to order. Two of us got the lamb, one got the veal chop, and one got the cod. All were fabulous. The profiteroles were a highlight as well.
Everything was excellent highly recommended would go again
