Red Fox Tavern - Lakeville

After visiting Hot Sam's across the street, I unexpectedly found it quite busy for a Sunday lunch. I ordered nachos while my companion had a beer. The server was very friendly, and the beer was cold. The nachos were tasty, and packed with meat—something many places skimp on. However, they felt a bit cold on the surface, though still warm and steamy in the center. It appeared that the chicken was pre-cooked. Despite that, everything was still enjoyable and reasonably priced given the current economic pressures in the industry. I would definitely stop by again when I’m in the area.

This is a lovely restaurant that was a bit busy given the limited number of staff on hand, but they provided excellent service. Thursday evenings feature Bingo, making it a fun atmosphere. I enjoyed the Speck Cheeseburger, which was quite tasty, especially paired with the side salad. The savory wild rice sandwich also impressed me. Overall, a great experience!

I absolutely love the Red Fox! The staff is incredibly nice and welcoming, and the food is outstanding! Owner Lee really makes you feel at home. Don’t let some of the less-than-five-star reviews sway you; some people don't appreciate how challenging it can be to find good staff these days. I highly recommend stopping by the Fox for one of their Prime Rib nights or to catch some live music!

Food is getting better at Red Fox Tavern. My husband and I enjoyed Burger on the terrace and enjoyed live music. Staff seem overwhelmed in busy nights. They work hard, but come ready to be patient.

Great food! Great atmosphere! Friendly staff and a place to park my Rig without charging me! I’ll gladly spend my money here where truck drivers are welcomed. Big Thank you to the owner and staff.
