Very sweet and friendly staff who looked after us and the dog very well! Good hot, strong coffee in old beamed building, centre of Hawkshead. Lots of different drink options and plenty of vegetarian lunch choices. Cakes looked good and my cheese scone was lovely.

The atmosphere was really pleasant even though we were seated outside. There was a great variety of food and drinks to choose from. The ginger vegan cake was delicious! The staff was friendly as well.

We had a delightful experience yesterday at this restaurant, enjoying tea and scones. The staff were kind and welcoming, and are doing an excellent job during these difficult times. I would highly recommend this place.
