We visited here recently after a hot day at the beach. Located just before the beach entrance. We ordered toasted sandwiches which we were very nice and good value for money. We also went the next day and ordered coffees. Good coffees as we quite fussy about our coffees. We had taken our kayak down to water outside their cafe and got gelato ice creams. What User doesn't like about Surf Club Cafe:
we came to a busy public holiday and found eating unusable. I ate the sushi and the whole rice fell out, was hard and without taste. they shouldn't offer it if they don't know how to do it. my man ate the egg and... bacon roll tasted like it's been sitting around for ever. my children ate potato cakes and they were oily and not properly cooked, although we had to wait for them to be freshly cooked. after that, the fo... All that a beachfront kiosk should be. Great coffee and Norgen Vaas ice cream as well as the usual Peters favourites. Also a selection of burgers, chips, bacon & eggs etc. Great for a quick snack while at the surf beach or to relax and have a coffee and watch the paddle boats on the lake.
Pleasant clean café located at the Surf Club just over the Main Street Walkway footbridge.Prices were reasonable and the food was tasty. We had a bacon and egg sandwich with coffee and ate at the sit down tables in the shade with a lovely view towards the centre of Lakes Entrance.The café caters for most tastes with a variety of take away foods or you can sit down, relax and enjoy the view and the passing crowds. Lots of ice creams were sold on the morning we visited.
