Went there today at 1130. I drove 45 minutes to get there. Appeared to be closed down. Windows white and no logos or markings. Guess there are out of business. I had 4 if us View all feedback.

What a great find in this place. The staff was friendly and attentive during the whole meal. The food is fantastic and the portions are huge (we both had enough leftover for another meal). The smoke on the meats is spot on. The sauces are a little on the sweet side by themselves, but pair great with the meats. The ribs fall off the bone and are meaty and large. Lastly, the cornbread is fried to a golden brown and lots of flavor. Each of the 4 locations has a combo smoked meat dish named for a famous military service member (this one is Pvt James Miller, an awardee of the Medal of Honor).

Whew, that was some terrific BBQ ! Hubby and I got a big plate of everything to share the ribs were a favorite for both of us, they fell off the bone and were nice and meaty! But the pulled pork and shredded chicken was delicious and moist too; I tried mine with every sauce on the table the mustard, sweet, and sweet hot and they were all stellar! Oh! And there was sausage too! It was really flavorful with a bit of heat (not like the ones I've had elsewhere that are just an oversized hotdog) and had a great crunch when I bit through the casing. Hubby's favorite side was the collard greens, but I loved the green bean casserole. Y'all, I always save the bread for last because I don't want to fill up before I get to the food stuff BUT THIS CORNBREAD WAS AMAZING! Crispy butter fried crust made it the perfect end to the meal, although I was really tempted by the coffee or carrot cake ice cream.
