Five Guys - Lakeland

Stopped here for a bite to eat on the way home from the Tampa area. Food was great as usual from five guys, the staff was friendly and worked quickly to get orders out. They had someone cleaning tables and stuff as well keeping it a clean location. A friend got a peanut butter milkshake and said it was excellent.

We ordered 2 cheese dogs with different toppings. It was ok. We had been at this franchise at different states and had better. Waiting time was 15 min and we don't know if it is ok for Florida. Staff was very very polite.

So I've always heard that this place was pricey but worth it. I will say, both of those statements proved true. We got two drinks, a large fry, a bacon cheeseburger, and a regular cheeseburger. It cost us 40 bucks. However, once I took that first bite I didn't mind. It is so delicious. The burgers come with any topping you want, from mushrooms to onions to relish. One of the freshest fast food burgers I've ever had. And, as a diabetic, I very much appreciate the coke freestyle machine. All in all, best fast food burger place on the block if you can fork over the cash. Can't wait to go back and try a hot dog.

The Five Guys closer to me shut down. So on a vacation I was happy to pass this place. Just remember that a burger has 2 patties. A little burger has one patty. And even the little burgers are big size wise! And a small fry is more than enough for 2 people. You will not leave here hungry! Please come back to Riverview, Florida!
