I have been to MANY locations for weddings, sweet 16's, etc. I have NEVER in my life seen people be so RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL! They do not want to be bothered with ANYTHING and they are very cold and have an attitude with ANYTHING you ask involving the event. DO NOT HAVE ANY EVENT HERE! I've attended many events like weddings and sweet sixteens, but I've never encountered such rudeness and disrespect. The staff seemed uninterested in helping with anything and were consistently cold and unfriendly when approached with questions about the event. I highly advise against hosting any event here! They seem to lack the desire to make your day special; it feels more like they just want to show up, do the bare minimum, and leave. This experience has left me truly shocked. I even witnessed one of their employees in tears. It's disheartening to see how poorly the staff is treated, especially when they're working hard to make the event enjoyable while the management behaves so unprofessionally. I'm genuinely appalled and feel for the hardworking employees trying to do their best amidst this poor leadership.
When ordering, you can trust that a veal chop will actually be a substantial portion. You have the freedom to select your pasta and customize the sauces to your taste. The dining space is spacious, yet the carpeting and wall decor create a cozy environment that allows for private conversations in hushed tones. We found the drinks to be expertly crafted and quite satisfying. The wine list is thoughtfully curated, catering to a variety of preferences, and is reasonably priced. Surprisingly, the owner, Jerry Bove, makes an effort to connect with his guests. This well-dressed European gentleman exudes a warm and inviting presence, and his genuine concern for ensuring your evening goes well is evident. For me, this personal touch adds to the restaurant's charm and warmth. I highly recommend La Bove 'Grande, formerly known as the Circle Landmark, as a must-visit for a quiet, unrushed, and enjoyable dining experience. The bar is small yet intimate, and the overall service was very pleasant.
