My wife and I, and my parents, enjoyed blackened mahi mahi this past Friday night at MACKZ's Hideaway. We arrived at 1900 and found most tables occupied fortunately a table for four opened just as we arrived. It appeared only one person was working the tables she did a great job keeping up with a dozen or so tables. Being busy, it took approximately 40 minutes for our food to arrive we enjoyed a few beers during the wait (Widow Maker Black Ale was particularly tasty). We were glad to hear that the bar/restaurant will continue business after the completion of its recent sale. The establishment had planned a farewell party for the weekend of 28 July 2023, which will now be a grand re opening celebration. We look forward to future Friday fish fries!
