Great place for date night! It was our first time in. My boyfriend started off with the Blood Orange Old Fashion and I went for the Strawberry Mule. Both were on point! What Lucy P doesn't like about Bitters Bull:
We called ahead a week ago for reservations. Drove 30 minutes only to find out their hours had been changed and they were closed. A phone call to let us know would have been nice! Will not be back! View all feedback.

A refined dining experience amidst the sea of casual bar food establishments. The old fashion cocktails were superb. Our server brought an impressive amount of energy, which was quite refreshing. I tried the smoked prime rib, and it was excellent; even the side of carrots and broccoli was spot on (I'm not really a potato fan).

We will definitely be back again soon as there were many other items we both wanted to try. Cool vibe, friendly service, great menu!
As a first-time visitor, I was thoroughly impressed with Bitter Bulls. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. Everything arrived hot and fresh, and the beer was perfectly chilled. I will definitely be returning!
My wife and I debated this start-score quite a bit. We loved the ambiance and from-scratch emphasis of B+B and we want to see more joints like this in the Northwoods but unfortunately our dinner left a lot to be desired. For the good, my wife loved her salmon and the fried Parmesan potatoes were excellent. Entrees come with fresh homemade bread and soup/salad, all of which was delicious. But my steak missed the mark. For $47 you should set a high bar for a ribeye, but mine was over cooked slightly (medium when asked for med rare) and had far too much silver skin on the cut. They were also also severely understaffed. Overall our servers were quite patient, kind, and helpful, even when there were some extremely rude diners who took their frustration on slow service out on the staff (one even left without paying their bill). We can definitely give them grace given all the tough staffing challenges out there today but for a slow-ish Tuesday night to have a 50 min wait for a table and another 45 for food makes it hard to want to come back on a weekend. BUT with that said their Friday fish fry looks fantastic and we will give it another chance.
