We traveled from Christchurch to have a special 20th wedding anniversary dinner at Rakinui Peppers in Tekapo. We were seated, and then nothing. No drink order, no food order. The restaurant was not busy. Only 3 tables with 2 people each. After 30 min, my husband approached the staff and asked if someone could take our order, as we'd been waiting 30min. They were not friendly and made us feel rude for even asking. So disappointed.
