Lowhill Village Bakery - Lake Oswego

A little rubbed before 9 when they opened. The lady opened the window and asked for my order. I ordered one of all in the window, about 26 donuts if I remember correctly. Let me say. I'm so glad. Normal donuts make me sick because they are so sweet and sick. These were donuts for an adult palate. Complex and interesting flavor combinations and a variety of dough styles brioche, croissant and NOT excessively sweet. The hands down favorite was the croissant-style donuts flaky layers of comfort, but also the donut holes were incredible. I'll come back 100% when I'm in town.

Oh, my cronut! This place is amazing. I'm a first timer and that's amazing. So I got the bride, and the maple and they were both different and incredible. So worth the ride. The service was also very fast and polite.

I learned about picking up an order. The donuts were so beautiful that I took a picture for a moment. After all, it did again to try one of their offers. I have the chocolate thing La'ssant Donut. Tastes pretty good and definitely would have liked more goose. It wasn't too sweet. A little playful, but worth a try. Customer service is good.

I would not recommend coming to NOLA Doughnuts to get a regular yeast doughnut. We were underwhelmed by the maple bar. However, the la’ssants and to order beignets are worth a trip. We have paid a little extra to have a marionberry diving sauce for the beignets and it was absolutely worth it!

The dough is perfectly decadent and dense, sure to satisfy even the hungriest of breakfast seekers (I found myself eating half what I usually do). All the different flavors were delicious, though for us the Maple Glaze stood above the others. The cream filling really taking both the texture and flavor profile to a new level. While not as on the radar , perhaps, as other Portland breakfast pastry establishments, NOLA brings a unique style at a quality that cannot be missed, and deserves a slot at the top of considerations
