I went through the drive thru here and the service was excellent and the food was awesome as well. It had been a while since I went to a steak n shake, and I was pleasantly surprised at how low the prices were. It was also my first time trying the butter steak burger and it was amazing! What User doesn't like about Steak 'n Shake:
this place is terrible! I went here with my wife and they gave the smallest. the portions are so small that we had to get 2 of an article just a decent meal. every time we come here, there are never the same people I guess they don't know what they're doing. thanks steak n shake her ruin my night! I Love Steak and Shake they have the best Vanilla Cokes and I Love the Garlic Burger with Swiss Cheese and onion I enjoy the Servers he one in Sanford by the Mall and the one in Lake Mary Fl are the Best
Great service, great food. Great location for a meal b4 flying from SFB.
Casher refused to give me the best options for what I ordered. It was too much trouble. My order was for three steakburgers with cheese. When we went to eat them, they were all raw and slightly browned on the outside. I liked SnS.
When we travel we can usually count on a decent quality correctly prepared meal from steak and shake. We downloaded the app that was very cumbersome and difficult to use. S and S informed us it would take 17 minutes for the meal to prepared so we waited. We called the phone number at the location where we were advised to pick up the order at 15 minutes making sure we were at the correct location only to be told out order had been ready for quite a while. They told us to go to drive thru to get the meal. When we went through drive-thru to pick our meal up and had to wait 5 minutes for the guy ahead of us to have his meal prepared! Being borderline hangry we finally got our food and left the drive-thru . Got on the interstate and my travel companion starts to unwrap everything! Did I mention I 'm hangry ! The fries are cold, the onion rings were cold and greasy, the burgers were wrong! One of us ordered a bacon cheese and the other ordered a cheese burger. Neither burger had any condiments on them. I 've learned to become very patient during covid times and understand challenges. This was terribly terribly disappointing and hope they can get their processes fixed.
The service is always slow. Everyone seems to be pre occupied and there never seems to be any management around. This last visit 2 employees and a friend sat at the counter, taking up dining spaces when they needed help. Even if they were on break this isn't the place to sit.
