Poly Pop - Lake Jackson
Poly Pop
Description
Nestled in a vibrant locale, this restaurant boasts a friendly atmosphere complemented by a creative drink menu. While some patrons rave about the exceptional ramen and unique dishes, others have expressed disappointment with menu items like the crawfish, citing unexpected flavors and missing offerings. Service experiences seem to vary, with reports of unwelcoming interactions during ID checks and instances of long wait times leading to frustration. Despite these mixed reviews, many appreciate the inviting vibe, attentive staff, and the potential for a memorable dining experience, making it a place worth exploring, even if just for the drinks.

Had the blueberry waffles. They were great. Tried to order a Virgin Daiquiri and asked what flavors were available, and our waitress just said ok and walked away. I caked her back and asked for a virgin piña colada , but my daughter never gave a flavor. When I called her back over again, I asked what flavor she had for my daughter, and she stated, A virgin Daiquiri. I again said, What flavor? Mine 's piña colada, what 's hers? She said, a virgin Daiquiri. So we finally just made it 2 piña colada flavors. She clearly wasn 't going to give us options.
Aloha! This is the spot in Lake Jackson for tropical drinks!! They have an amazing happy hour for half priced drinks (tropical storm) from 8pm-9pm!! We had the sharable Chi Chi Nut Punch, the Suni Haze and the Malie Circus. All were mixed in house recipes from their Mixologists, our bartender Gaby was very friendly and knowledgeable. We ordered some food as well, we got the Kalua Nachos, was a larger portion than we were expecting, large chips and plentiful toppings, Polynesian Riblets which were fall off the bone with sweet and spicy sauce (was our favorite) and the Backyard Shrimp Boil Ramen, the broth was spicy, but was very flavorful and had plenty shrimp and fixings. We will be Poly Popping again soon, we really enjoyed the lovely chill atmosphere with candle lights and the delicious food and drinks. Thanks Gaby!!
Food was great as always staff friendly. The drinks were so yummy. KALUHA Nachos are my favorite. I also had the chicken wraps, which are excellent! Can be shared for an appetizer or alone as a meal.
