Table 24 has garnered attention for its uneven dining experience. While some guests have praised the food, others report significant service issues. Concerns over cleanliness were raised, including reports of roaches, and delays in food service were common, with waits extending beyond 90 minutes. Menu items were frequently unavailable, and customer service appeared inconsistent, leading to dissatisfaction and frustration among diners. Despite attempts to offer compensation for poor experiences, many patrons have vowed not to return, overshadowing the positives of the cuisine. Overall, Table 24 faces challenges in delivering a dependable dining experience.
The food at this restaurant is tasty, but the service is terrible. To make matters worse, there are roaches crawling on the wall next to your dinner table! Overall rating: Food 4, Service 1, Atmosphere 1. Dine-in dinner costs $20-30 per person.
Booked a table for 10 and after a long drive to get there found a hand written note on the door saying it was closed for maintenance
The front of house manager at this restaurant is apparently the chef/owner's husband. I visited tonight (9/29/23) and observed the FOH manager sharing personal stories with a particular table while only him and Tina were working. Since the manager did not acknowledge anyone else in the restaurant, I requested Tina to be our waitress. Unfortunately, the restaurant was out of bread and the menu was much smaller than usual with a number of items unavailable. While I understand limitations on food items, the manager's behavior was unacceptable. Tina was the only one actually working and taking care of customers.
Wow, Best dinner ever! Steak, Lamb, Duck, and Shrimp ... Oh and the chocolate cake was fantastic and best ever tasted! Service was great and chef cooked everything perfect.Have traveled many places this year and this is the number 1 place we have eaten. We have been all over the south and have not found anything like this !
Over priced and underwhelming. My husband brought me here to celebrate my birthday, and to say the least we were disappointed. We were the only patrons in the establishment until the end of our meal when a family of 6 came in.We started off with 2 waters, 2 long Island iced teas, and a full ceasar salad to share. The lettuce was soggy, and the salad was warm (like the stuff had been sitting out for a while and was all room temperature. My husband got the chef signature meal that included a steak, shrimp, crab cake, asparagus, and onion rings. He liked his meal, but the onion rings were soggy which wasn 't ideal. I ordered the 10oz filet with a side of mac 'n 'cheese. We both asked for our steaks to be cooked medium-rare. My husband 's came out perfectly, but my steak was practically still mooing when I cut into it it was so raw. I asked the waitress to have the chef cook it longer to try to get it a little more done. The macaroni was good, and flavorful, but a little grainy in texture and not smooth and creamy. To finish up the meal we ordered a slice of cheesecake which really ruined the rest of the meal. It was frozen solid, it tasted terrible, like straight vanilla and not cheesecakey at all. The crust on it was practically non existent so that was a waste of $11... and the whole atmosphere was very cheap when the cost to dine is extremely high. We paid almost $200 for 3 drinks, 2 meals, 1 salad, 1 desert. The 3 people that I saw working were very underdressed and unkempt, plus one of the women who wasnt really working other than to seat us was sitting in the back of the restaurant (in customer view playing on her phone and i guess watching videos as i could hear them at our table. Every table had a white table cloth, BUT on top of each one was white butcher paper! I felt like I should 've been eating messy bar-b-q or with a school of children. The menus were also in disarray, the inside papers were stained and had old drinks on them that had dried and make the text run to where you couldn 't read it all too well. The butcher paper on the tables really made the whole place feel really cheap. I definitely don 't think we will be back anytime soon....
