Had a lovely afternoon with family at Mora. We very much enjoyed the atmosphere, beautiful lush garden and gentle summer breeze. Foods were very well presented and creative. Most dishes were on the fusion side, loved the light and fresh tastes which complimented the season. Staffs were very friendly and attentative. View all feedback.
Great food, wine and the environment. All power supplies were gluten-free and most other dishes could be made gluten-free. Once we had to double the dish was indeed gluten-free (a suspicious looking wafer in dessert) and the staff could not confirm and had to double check with the kitchen, so there was a bit of a gap in the process there (it was GF at the end, but would have known me more about the staff what they gave up). Once we ordered a GF and non-GF version of the same dishes and they mixed them when they brought them out, but thanks to the gluten version had glued bread out of it and the GF you did not, so we could quickly confirm that they mixed it. Overall it was really good food and I got through unglutened, but a few places she could tighten her allergen processes. I'd like to visit again, but stay vigilant.

One of the nicest places we been to in NZ, like dining in a secret garden surrounded by nature. The atmosphere was amazing and the food was just as promising. The meat was tender and the variety to chose from was great. Definitely worth the visit and happy to recommend for people travelling and looking for something special. Ready to pay abit for this but it's worth it.
Back garden to dine was lovely on a sunny day. The service was good as was the food. We wanted to do a wine tasting afterwards and went to the cellar door, where a note directed you back to the restaurant. Once we went back in we were told to go find the lady with white hair who could do a tasting for us. She was no where to be found so we left to go somewhere else. Was disappointing.
Beautiful food we really loved the shoulder of lamb. The Bannockburn Chardonnay was enjoyed, and the service was on point. We love coming here. The shoulder of lamb is sooo tender. The twice cooked potatoes is a must!
