El Pollo Loco - Lake Elsinore

I entered the restaurant and waited for an unpleasant amount of time without anyone acknowledging me or asking if I needed help, including the older male manager. He seemed to actively avoid making eye contact with me and finally, when I attempted to speak, he quickly cut me off and said that someone else would assist me. The manager appeared arrogant and unconcerned. However, the cashier who ultimately helped me was friendly and efficient, despite the manager's unhelpful attitude when the machine experienced issues. Unfortunately, the manager refused to provide me with his name and kept his back turned towards me.

This is our local Pollo Loco. We always use the drive thru. The food is usually fresh and hot. Check your order before you go, this place has the tendency to forget things. Except it's a good one. Staff are friendly and willing to take care of their mistakes. Usually the service is fast. Give them a shot.

The chicken is always good, Churros are decent BUT they always seem to forget the salsas you ask! So customer service is not as great as in other places where they actually listen to customer orders, should the person be changed positions if they are not as big at the following orders?? 7:00 p.m.

I love this place, never have a problem, they are fast, polite and get my order exactly. Do not normally leave reviews, but just had the best meal in a while! Thank you.

I went thru the drive thru at this Lake Elsinore location on Collier Ave. Ordered a 25 piece family meal from the menu for $25.00, legs and thighs. When I got home, I only had 14 pieces, so I called and spoke to Mario (Mgr) and explained the situation. His response was that they don't have a 25 price meal. I asked him, then why is it on your menu? He said they have a 14 piece meal for $27. So I asked, why didn't the girl at the window or on speaker correct me or say you no longer have the 25 piece meal. His response, I don't know! I let him know I would be contacting corporate office and he said...okay. Really, this is how you take care of your customers when you are clearly in error.
