Contribute FeedbackDespite disappointments such as paying for chips and salsa and unprofessional service from the hostess, this restaurant managed to salvage its reputation with great bar service and food. The bartender allowed a reservation change that the hostess refused, providing a positive experience. However, the enchiladas Al Carbon were served cold and not made as requested. The management was also called into question due to a phantom restaurant reservation. Customer credit card slips were altered by a dishonest server, leading to an investigation by the restaurant. While the food was good, service issues persist in this recently reopened Lake Charles establishment.
Started with chips and salsa (at a price of $4.95), as a Mexican restaurant where all Mexican restaurants usually give the salsa and chips free. kidnapped by someone who owns many restaurants.
Fun atmosphere, great food service, will definitely be back!
Good food, no good service. Quite well, when later in the evening Cadillac received text to clarify my tip. It turned out that the server has changed my credit card slip to reflect 50 dollars more than I specified. Cadillac said they would look into their surveillance. Only opened again in Lake Charles, provided they have to weep through the bad apples of the employees.
Hostess was unprofessional...if we asked if we could move our reservations 30 minutes from 6:15 to 5:45 on Sunday, she went into an unnecessary explanation why it was not possible. When we asked if we could sit at the bar and wait, she replied that she couldn't sit early, but the bartender heard and said that we could sit everywhere, like at the bar. I would have canceled my reservation if not for the bartender. Bar service food and drinks were great. When we sat for our 6:15 reservation, it was in the bar area and not in the dining area, so it was irritating to treat with all the noise and TVs. We ordered enchiladas al Carbon but one without onion and Gravy and the other without onions and both were cold. We didn't send back, but unhappy with meal.
We made reservations so we were seated promtly and then took a bit to get waited on but the view was good... we had our drinks served in plastic cups, with no explination. Later when we had waited for refills for about 10 min and asked for the larger glasses that everyone else had. She said that they had been being washed... totally understand that happens. But explain it and get them out ASAP. OTHERWISE WAS GREAT
