This was our first character meal on the trip. As expected it was really noisy but we were seated in a corner to wasn’t too bad. The food was good, lots of choice and probably not one for picky eaters but a good mix of African inspired foods. Our waiter Ashley was super friendly and attentive and the characters fun. What User doesn't like about Tusker House:
We had reservations and still waited almost 40 mins before we could get in, super annoying. Very pricey for the type of food, however, you're paying for the opportunity to meet Donald, Daisy, Mickey, and Goofy. It's a big event when they come out, so likely the reason we didn't get seated on time. The food and character experience were great! In my opinion, this character dining enhances the most lacking of the four parks. The food was great and characters were interactive in their unique gear. I highly recommend this character breakfast!
This was an impromptu visit to this restaurant. While at the park our group got hungry and it just so happened that we were next by this place. We were able to make a reservation within 30 minutes. It’s a buffet style restaurant which is amazing. From the salads to entre to deserts everything was delicious. There was even a character meet during lunch with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Donald. If you get a chance please check this place out.
This is a 5 star Plus dinning experience! Very friendly, attentive, and accommodating restaurant staff! Awesome themed decor all around! Clean and well maintained restaurant. The buffet food is a win! There is something for everyone! The food was delicious! My children loved the special attention that the Disney characters gave to my table. This place was a big hit for my family! Very worth the price. I would 100 percent recommend and will definitely be a returning customer when visiting the park!
Another fantastic Disney character dining experience! Mickie, Minnie, Donald, and the rest of the original Disney cast come around to each table in their safari attire and spend lots of time taking pictures and signing autographs with the kids. By far, my favorite of the buffet lines that are offered across the different character dining choices! They offer some unique regional dishes and lots of American comfort food as well. It was hard making room to try it all! The atmosphere is really well done too, and worth taking the time to appreciate all the details!
Wonder experience. Yes it is expensive. BUT The food is brilliant. You can eat as much as you like. The staff are brilliant. The characters come out ALL the time. You can drink as much as you want. For kids that are the right age there is nothing better in the world than eating some really nice food whilst Mickey walks in to chat to you. If Disney is a regular visit for you then you will probably skip this, but if its a one off or irregular trip, you've got to do this. We were hesitant when we booked, we do not regret it.
