Contribute FeedbackFrontera Cocina offers high-end Mexican cuisine with a mixed bag of experiences. While some found the prices outrageous for small portions, others raved about delicious dishes like roasted poblano soup and excellent service from waitstaff like Astrid and Leo. The atmosphere is lively, perfect for tourists but can be noisy. Gluten-free options are widely available, and exceptional service from servers like Bruno and Christopher. Food highlights include the Verde guacamole and Tacos Carne Asada. While some may find the value lacking, many patrons vow to return for more of Frontera Cocina's tasty offerings.
The server was excellent, providing recommendations for both food and drinks, and answering all of our questions thoroughly. Very helpful and attentive.
My family of four came here for dinner while on vacation. We had reservations for 6:15 and arrived a little early hoping to get out of the heat after shopping. We were seated in a comfy partial booth and Astrid was our waitress. Astrid was by far one of the best waitstaff I've had anywhere in some time. She provided great recommendations, and answered our questions with my daughter's shell fish allergy in mind. Her service throughout the meal was wonderful, never hovering but always attentive to our needs. All four of our meals were excellent, as was our appetizer (mango guacamole) and our plates were cleared and belly's full at the end of our dining experience. Frontera Cocina easily ranks for us as one of the best restaurants in Disney Springs and we have tried a few. Our daughters each had the flauta appetizers as entrees, I had the carne asada tacos and my husband the barbacoa. We all shared a side of elotes. I also enjoyed a Paloma. Great meal and experience all the way around will dine here again and recommend to others!
For the price and quantity there should have been more. $29 for 4 flimsy tacos you make yourself at the table with a small portion and no rice or anything as a side is insane to me. I should’ve had a whole meal for that price not a snack . Will not return for sure. I expected more for a Disney restaurant.
Food was delicious. High end Mexican food. We had the roasted poblano soup, chicken enchiladas roasted vegetable tacos and the cuatro leches it’s a little noisy but it’s a tourist location with lots of kids.
The guacamole salad topped with carne asada was fantastic, as was the tableside guacamole. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at this restaurant.
