China Wok - Lake Alfred

Your food is outstanding! We've ordered it several times and have never been let down. The portion sizes for the price are incredibly generous! The only downsides are the building itself, which is a bit outdated, and it tends to be quite warm inside (I don't think the air conditioning is ever on, and the back door is usually open). Regardless of the appearance of the interior, the food is so good that we can simply call in our order and pick it up! I do wish they offered General Tso's as a standalone meal instead of just a combination plate, but it's still absolutely delicious!

I had a pretty good meal at a reasonable price. My roommate and I tried the General Tso's chicken, which was tasty and came in a generous portion. However, I found the fried rice to be a bit bland, and the egg roll lacked flavor—it just tasted like cabbage to me (I’m not too concerned about the egg roll, though). The staff were friendly, and we didn’t have to wait long for our food. I probably won’t dine in again since the seating area is limited. Overall, it was on par with other similar Chinese takeout places I’ve visited.

The service was quick, and the food was quite tasty. The hot and sour soup could use a bit more flavor, though. It looked great and was packed with vegetables, even though I'm not a fan of all of them. Overall, everything else was excellent. I'll definitely be returning!

Its location is best for me they are the only Chinese food place in the lake alfred, but the food is always good and they give you a lot of it. Sure, it could use some updates, but I don't think of this as a dune in place for me. I love I can eat at home on my way home from work and in 20 to 30 minutes at home.
