We stopped here for lunch on a Sunday after an early morning hike in Septmoncel. Service was friendly and we ate on the lovely outdoor patio. My dining companion had the BBQ pulled pork, and I had the samosas. Both were delicious. The house made mixed pickles that came with the BBQ were especially tasty. Portions were good sized — enough to fill us up without leaving feeling bloated. We will definitely return! Vegetarian options: Samosas were great!

After a Troyes-Geneve by mountain bike in 2 days on the advice of our hosts from Lamoura we go back to Lajoux at Feodor for a truly exceptional hamburger and equally delicious homemade fries. Very friendly welcome and a small Christmas tree offered as a digestive. I think it's well worth the detour if you're passing through or on vacation in the area.
