After driving to Laidley expecting to eat at another restaurant only to be disappointed that it was closed, we walked up the street and stumbled upon this charm... read more After driving to Laidley expecting to eat at another restaurant only to be disappointed that it was closed, we walked up the street and stumbled upon this charming café. Despite the hot weather outside, the café was cool and we were warmly greeted by two friendly young staff members who were very helpful. We all decided to try a drink we hadn't had in years, a spider, along with some delicious toasties. Two of us also had an apple slice, while the third person in our group opted for a tiramisu slice. As we enjoyed our food, we admired the artwork on display, created by local artists. This café is definitely worth a stop if you're passing through and looking for something to eat.
