We order the shrimp that was well reviewed by Guy Fieri, the coconut shrimp and chips, the veggie fried rice and the adobo fried rice. The shrimp was not impressive and was overly cooked. The coconut shrimp was good but some had no coconut at all. The fried rices were very good! View all feedback.
What Silvana Foglia doesn't like about Joey's Kitchen:
3.5 stars The Garlic Chicken is one of their best sellers. It was deep fried and crispy, but salty. It was really tasty at first, then it got a little sickening. The Pork Adobo was cooked well and tender, but also too salty. Would have been a great meal if they backed off the soy sauce just a bit. Good casual/local option in Whalers.
We love Joey's! We are 3x since the arrival in Napili last week and want to go again today. The fish are so good! I got the salmon last time (delish, see photo) and man got the garlic chicken (not my thing and he felt it was ok, I don't think he was really in deep roasted chicken either, but the flavors were good, see photo). We were not thrilled on a chic dinner, but wanted the food top notch we found a winner!
Best breakfast Burrito in the village! Come with salsa and salad. We also tried pancakes with bananas and strawberries and Loco Moco. Our children loved the pancakes that come with a very tasty caramel syrup. My husband liked Loco moco. The lady who sold us food wasn't super welcoming, but we liked the guy who went over and we came over the last day.
Fantastic Filipino food. I had the pig Adobo. The portions are huge. It offers heating of the remains for breakfast. Definitely over again. It's a food dish, not an atmosphere.
FYI visited Guy Fieri with great reviews. (I didn't know that before my visit) I went for the first time with the Loco Moco and it was all I was looking for. The eggs were just over and ran over the beef patty and rice, as I hoped it would.. My wife had the baked fish and French fries. The fish was slightly broken Mahi Mahi. Very tasty it was definitely enjoyed. We look forward to our next visit to Lahaina for number 2.
