Staff, kind and prepared... the only suggestion be careful on the wine as having the bottle far from us was a bit disappointing. Better to give a glacette to the table and leave it closer...apart from that definitely a place to visit anytime you pass by....

We both had the surprise menu with accompanying wines and for us this was an evening with both high- and some low(er)lights. The highlights definitely were the parmesansoup, the tortellini, the main course (with beef) and the dessert with the banana. Those were all really tasty and I still sometimes dream of those dishes. Yet, it was almost a bit too much and some of the portions were a bit too big for my taste. Also it felt like the accompanying wines didn't necessarily lift the dishes to the next level. In retrospect, I should've ordered an Aperol Spritz and I would probably be more happy. Considering that I paid almost €200 for this evening (those are honestly Michelinstar restaurant prices), I would give Lackner Stubn a rating of around 3.7 stars if we could give decimal stars. Having said that, I do believe this restaurant has a lot of potential and the service was also very professional. All in all, if you want to have a special evening with good food I would really recommend this place.
