We stumbled upon this restaurant while driving and were delighted to find that making an online reservation was quick and easy. Our table was ready within five minutes of our early arrival. Well the food wasn 't good but it was expensive! Ordered a cup of lobster bisque. BARELY lukewarm but $12.00. The hanger steak was described by the server as the most tender portion of the beef tenderloin. Half way through the meal she observed mydifficulty cutting the most tender portion to ask if I wanted a steak knife! $24.00. Well the food wasn 't good but it was expensive! Ordered a cup of lobster bisque. BARELY lukewarm but $12.00. It had a flavor totally foreign to anybeef I 've ever tried and wasn 't a taste I hope to experience again. Very disappointed in our experience there. The server waspersonable and efficient.
I truly adore Mare Sol! Even with the change in chefs, the menu appears to have only gotten better. The service and food are outstanding, and I’ve never had anything I didn't like. This is a wonderful local restaurant that everyone—both tourists and locals—should experience! My current favorite dish is the Southwest Smash Burger; it's the best burger I’ve ever tasted!
We dined at Mare Sol in the lovely city of LaGrange, Georgia, with a group of six to celebrate a friend's birthday. We decided to arrive early for Happy Hour, understanding that getting a reservation can be quite challenging. Our server, Jen, was exceptionally patient as we bombarded her with questions about the menu. Our meals arrived promptly and were absolutely delightful. I really appreciated the atmosphere, which featured an open layout and plenty of natural light. The food was served hot and packed with flavor, and the wine suggestion was perfect. If you’re in this quaint little town, I highly recommend visiting this restaurant, as they truly make an impact with their distinctive flavors. However, I do wish they offered a wider range of gluten-free options.
This is a wonderful restaurant situated in a delightful historic downtown area. The grilled pork chop and its accompaniments were outstanding! Our children loved their grilled cheese and tomato soup, and I have to say that the tomato soup was some of the best I’ve ever had. I will definitely come back when I'm in this area again.

Ashley was an outstanding waitress! She recommended great cocktails and appetizers. She checked on us several times.
Great experience, great service, great food. A gem for a small town like LaGrange!
The food was just okay. My salmon was overcooked and dry. My date ordered the flat iron steak, but it didn’t seem marinated enough and would have benefited from a bit of char. We sat at the bar, but the bartender was rarely around—I’m not sure if she was working elsewhere or what was happening. I’ll give it another shot before deciding not to return.
As always food quality was excellent and Jen is wonderful!
The server offered excellent recommendations and there were great specials along with delicious menu choices. Despite being very busy, the server handled everything wonderfully!

The food here is excellent, and there’s a wonderful variety of creative dishes to choose from. If you enjoy vegetarian options, the roasted garbanzo is outstanding; however, everything is delicious!
Wow. This place was definitely a big jewel to find. The food was great. The service is slow, but the ambience is so inviting. The food was definitely worth waiting. And the staff was professional.
Here's only GREAT!! The shrimps were cooked for perfection with cheeses and flat bread pizza, which was loaded with taste. I recommend these two dishes if this is your first time. #flyeatreview
The menu is excellent, the service is attentive, and the ambiance is lovely, especially with the outdoor seating. I will certainly make an effort to return to this restaurant. The lamb gyro and the roasted trout sandwich were both delicious.
During our road trip, we stumbled upon this restaurant for lunch, and it turned out to be a fantastic discovery. There were three of us dining, and we all enjoyed our meals immensely. The service was exceptional as well. I ordered the gyro, and it was truly one of the best lamb gyros I've ever tasted—I'd highly recommend it! The lamb was bursting with flavor. I also tried the pasta fagioli from the soup of the day, while my dad went for the chili, and both were delicious. My mom had the chicken salad sandwich, which she absolutely loved too.
