The food here is excellent, and there’s a wonderful variety of creative dishes to choose from. If you enjoy vegetarian options, the roasted garbanzo is outstanding; however, everything is delicious!
The restaurant was quite busy in the evening, and it seemed to be bustling among the staff. Our waiter did a fantastic job, but she was clearly stretched thin. The food was quite good, but the noise level was very high, making it difficult to hear anything. Additionally, the tables were small and cramped, barely accommodating a plate, cutlery, and drinks for four people. Although there were open booths available, we weren't allowed to move to those.
We love Mare Sol. Always terrific. Great to see many business-type groups dining here, along with local residents. It was busy but we got a table quickly through OpenTable.
Nestled in a charming historic downtown, this restaurant has garnered mixed reviews, showcasing a range of culinary experiences. Some guests appreciated the pleasant service yet felt let down by the food quality; dishes varied from overly thick chowders to dry salmon and tough steaks. Conversely, many diners rave about the delectable offerings, such as flavorful gyros and creative vegetarian options. The establishment is also commended for its speedy reservations and fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Overall, while the dining experience may be hit or miss, the potential for delightful cuisine keeps visitors eager to return.

Ashley was an outstanding waitress! She recommended great cocktails and appetizers. She checked on us several times.
Great experience, great service, great food. A gem for a small town like LaGrange!
Very nice waitress and the food was terrific. The service was a little slow but almost everyone has had a slowdown bc they need more help
The food was just okay. My salmon was overcooked and dry. My date ordered the flat iron steak, but it didn’t seem marinated enough and would have benefited from a bit of char. We sat at the bar, but the bartender was rarely around—I’m not sure if she was working elsewhere or what was happening. I’ll give it another shot before deciding not to return.

Well the food wasn 't good but it was expensive! Ordered a cup of lobster bisque. BARELY lukewarm but $12.00. The hanger steak was described by the server as the most tender portion of the beef tenderloin. Half way through the meal she observed mydifficulty cutting the most tender portion to ask if I wanted a steak knife! $24.00. It had a flavor totally foreign to anybeef I 've ever tried and wasn 't a taste I hope to experience again. Very disappointed in our experience there. The server waspersonable and efficient.
I truly adore Mare Sol! Even with the change in chefs, the menu appears to have only gotten better. The service and food are outstanding, and I’ve never had anything I didn't like. This is a wonderful local restaurant that everyone—both tourists and locals—should experience! My current favorite dish is the Southwest Smash Burger; it's the best burger I’ve ever tasted!
We dined at Mare Sol in the lovely city of LaGrange, Georgia, with a group of six to celebrate a friend's birthday. We decided to arrive early for Happy Hour, understanding that getting a reservation can be quite challenging. Our server, Jen, was exceptionally patient as we bombarded her with questions about the menu. Our meals arrived promptly and were absolutely delightful. I really appreciated the atmosphere, which featured an open layout and plenty of natural light. The food was served hot and packed with flavor, and the wine suggestion was perfect. If you’re in this quaint little town, I highly recommend visiting this restaurant, as they truly make an impact with their distinctive flavors. However, I do wish they offered a wider range of gluten-free options.
This is a wonderful restaurant situated in a delightful historic downtown area. The grilled pork chop and its accompaniments were outstanding! Our children loved their grilled cheese and tomato soup, and I have to say that the tomato soup was some of the best I’ve ever had. I will definitely come back when I'm in this area again.

I've dined here over a dozen times in the past few months, and the quality of the food, service, and atmosphere is consistently exceptional. They have an excellent selection of wines. This...
The service was pleasant, but the food didn’t quite meet expectations. I ordered the corn chowder and a salad. The chowder was extremely thick, as if it had been cooking for hours. The corn...
