We visited emocean for silvester 2022. the entire experience; ambiente, eating, service – was amazing. sebastian has a quality company and it shows! the restaurant is beautiful and very well maintained every aspect of our meal. the new years of the Eve menu was artistically paired by every cure; a five star experience in every sight. but the end of the evening is where his professionality really came through as a truly gracious host. we couldn't get a taxi back to our hotel in luz and sebastian assured us that he would make sure we made it home. alex, the Sous Church Brother from Brazil, offered us a journey that we appreciated. thanks to sebastian and to alex for their friendly hospitality. an experience that will not be forgotten!

We have booked a table for 4 for christmas. we have different nutritional requirements in our family. one of us is celiac and incompatibility to milk and one of us is a vegetarian. that makes it very difficult for us to go for a meal. the chef in emocean has made a great meal for us. we had a 5-course Christmas meal. every single dish on the menu was amazing. the chef has adapted each court to our food restrictions. each individual dish was well balanced and full of taste. they made a special desert for us celiac, which was heavenly. we also had a beautiful wine with the meal. the people who run the restaurant were so friendly and helpful. we felt very relaxed and well maintained. the meal was not too expensive. it was good what we paid. I would recommend emocean at any season to everyone.

What a wonderful meal we received only 12 days after a new owner, Sebastian Lang his Brazilian chef took over this restaurant. They have vast cullinary experience in hospitality and managing much larger restaurants. We had enjoyed excellent food in previous visits to this restaurant, pre lockdown. The new owners and chef are heading towards similar wonderful quality food and service. We wish them well going forward. Kind regards and best wishes. Having visited Portugal many times we find that the usual offerings are a little disappointing not helped by the fact that one of us is vegetarian and usually ends up unsatisfied after dinner .There are few restaurants on open table in this region and we were lucky to have found Emocean this time round. A little bit away from the hustle and bustle of Lagos (recommend arranging a taxi to pick you up, beforehand We were greeted warmly by Marina who delivered us to our table with a view across the bay Upstairs in these beautiful surroundings Sebastian introduced himself. He possesses a passion for food which is evident in the interesting menu .With his guidance we chose our dishes and our drinks(the cognac with lime and soda a must! We had a wonderful evening .the food was exceptional and a pleasure to be a vegetarian /vegan here -far from an after thought on the menu Very much fine dining in a casual friendly setting . Wishing Sebastian and Marina every success with their new venture . Would highly recommend Emocean ,a very special place and beautiful people Bren and Rhona
