View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about O Espigueiro do Soajo:
Took friends having eaten at restaurant before, we were treated very well, as usual, David is an excellent host along with his staff. We left the choice of menu to David and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and the bill afterwards
We always eat at O Espigueiro when we travel to Portugal and it never dissapoints. This time was no exception. Delicious fresh local food prepared deliciously and enjoyed on the outside covered patio.
We visited Soajo as part of our exploration of the Peneda-Geres National Park. This sleepy village is like a throwback in time and a quite remarkable place to spend a couple of days. The owner (David) was incredibly hospitable and not only served as an amazing host but also was a wealth of information about the area. The food is traditional Portuguese fare prepared fresh to order by David and his family. We tried several fish dishes that were amazingly tasty. Sitting outside in the courtyard only added to our experience as the wine flowed and we were treated like long lost friends. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area.
The dish Naco is very good. But the customer service is not very good. They swapped the drinks and they weren 't very nice. The meat was worth though.
