A recent visit to QuickChek revealed a mix of experiences ranging from disappointing service at the gas station to commendable customer care in the restaurant section. While some staff members were deemed unprofessional with poor hygiene practices, others notably excelled in customer support, enhancing guests’ dining experiences. The children's menu received praise, and the attentiveness of employees like Janice and Kim did not go unnoticed. However, issues like inadequate parking during busy times and staff reluctance to assist certain customers marred the overall impression.

Unfriendly experience. If you order a sandwich, be sure to get a receipt. They didn’t give me my sandwich because they couldn’t access the system to confirm payment. I’ve never had this issue before. I’m out $7.50—not a huge amount, but still disappointing.

The staff at Quickchek were extremely rude, always looking for any excuse to justify their shortcomings. The men’s restroom had no soap—one dispenser had been broken for over a week, and the other was empty. When I asked about it, I was told it would be fixed. Only after I made it clear I wouldn’t leave without being able to wash my hands did the employee replace the soap bag. Upon checking the supposedly broken dispenser, he found the full bag had simply been installed backward. Despite this, the restroom's poor condition was noted as “inspected” in their hourly cleaning logs. Under these conditions, it’s clear that the male staff—whether gas attendants or cashiers—are incapable of maintaining proper sanitary standards. Both the issues and their excuses seem unavoidable.

Gas attendants are super friendly and helpful. Parking is not good during high traffic times. But they are a big QuickChek with lots of selection. This is the ONLY QuickChek in a 15 mile radius that gets my deli order correct!

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant due to the extremely rude staff, who seem to find any excuse to justify their own shortcomings. For instance, the men's restroom was lacking soap—one dispenser had been broken for over a week, and the other was completely empty. When I inquired about it, I was told that someone was supposed to come and fix it. However, when the staff member behind the counter realized I wasn't leaving until I could wash my hands, he grudgingly replaced the soap bag. Upon inspecting the "broken" dispenser, he discovered that the full bag had simply been inserted incorrectly—it wasn't broken after all. These issues persisted despite the fact that someone had signed off on hourly bathroom inspections. It's hard to believe that their male staff, including gas attendants and cashiers, were practicing proper sanitation under those conditions. Both the state of the facilities and the staff's justifications for their incompetence are completely unacceptable.

The service provided by Race was exceptional during our visit. He truly exceeded our expectations and went the extra mile for my husband and me with our gift card. I believe he deserves a promotion for his outstanding customer service!
