Izumi Ramen - Lafayette

Visited this restaurant for the first time on 1/7/22 around 7PM. There were several people seated, but there were at least 4 open spots at the bar with 4 seats each. The clientele was diverse, with families and couples dining. I tried a variety of items and found that the broths made at this restaurant are excellent. However, I would not recommend ordering the popular appetizers I tried, such as the shrimp tempura, cabbage dumplings, and spring rolls. The Japanese fried rice was decent, but not outstanding. I will definitely be returning for the Japanese Garden Bowl, which was delicious. The Casian Bowl also stood out, with a slightly smoky broth. I suggest asking for the noodles to be served separately next time, as the broth is so flavorful that it stands on its own. Overall, I highly recommend trying Izumi for a satisfying soup experience.

This was my first time dining here and I had a great experience. The indoor dining atmosphere was wonderful and the staff were very helpful. There was a fantastic variety of food and drinks to choose from. Plus, when you dine in, you get complimentary hot or cold sake. The food was delicious, fresh, and served quickly and hot. The portion sizes were generous compared to other ramen restaurants in Lafayette. I absolutely loved this place and can't wait to come back for another meal!

This was my first time visiting this restaurant. The indoor kitchen setup was great and the staff assistance was excellent. They offer a wide variety of food and drinks, and you even receive a complimentary hot or cold snack with your order. The food was amazing - fresh, quickly served, and piping hot. The prices are fair and you get good value compared to other Ramen restaurants in Lafayette. I absolutely love this place and can't wait to dine here again!

This restaurant in Lafayette is one of my favorites to eat at. I have tried almost everything on the menu and have not been disappointed. The food is always delicious and the service is consistently great. I would say this is as authentic as you can get in Louisiana. Highly recommend.

Great experience! We tried the Miso Happy and Twisted Tomato sushi rolls with a side of Gyoza. We will definitely be returning!
