Yummy amazing place. Very reasonable pricing for the amount of food you get. Everything in my 1st pic was $40 total, our total includes some drinks too. Great service, fresh fried chicken, good fries, and crispies (the drippings off of the fried chicken)yummy!!!

The best fried chicken I've ever tasted! It’s over an hour's drive for us, but it's absolutely worth it. The menu is quite limited, focusing mainly on chicken. You can expect hot, fresh chicken, delicious coleslaw, and crispy deep-fried goodness.

While waiting, you can snack on pickles and crunchy bites. The quality and flavor make it well worth the drive and the wait—there was a line out the door even on a Wednesday night!

Rip's Tavern serves the best chicken in Illinois! I've been coming here for 50 years, ever since my high school days, and they never fail to impress. We absolutely love the experience. The current staff are some of the friendliest I've ever met. Their menu consistently offers delicious options that keep me coming back.
