The beef lo mein is pretty awesome. Your typical asian takeout spot. It's definitely the best you're going to get in this area, unless you're trying to pay that for the fancy spot. View all feedback.
What Takesha Dorsey doesn't like about China Star:
The food was okay not what I expected for Chinese food. It lacked seasoning and flavor. They didn't know what boneless chicken was. I ordered House Mai fun it was okay but skimpy on the meat. This place is GOATED! Been eating here for 10+ years.
I have never given such a review; really disappointed. The fried rice doesn't taste like any fried rice we have ever eaten. I eat a blander diet, for medical reasons, so I was shocked to find the food flavorless.
The food was hot and fresh and the portions in the combination plates were good. The fried rice has only the ingredient you pick from the menu choices so if you want more than just chicken, pick additional options. The restaurant is small and designed more for take out, but the family owners are friendly.
