Eggspectation - Lackawanna

Good place for brunch with large selections of items in the menu from classical breakfast to crepe, omelettes, benedicts and more. Service is average, food quality average, ambience cozy.We had Crab Cake Benedict and Chocolate Banana Crepe. The crab cakes were a bit overdone. Overall food is good, but has option to improve. They are going for a name change, and will be renamed as Cosmopolitan

Loved the food. Great flavours.. Homefries were tasty. A touch on the salty side but absolutely delicious. Eggs benny was delicious, and my wife LOVED her omelet.Cappuccinos were good, not great.Staff was friendly, attentive, fast.. They seemed to be handling the Sunday brunch rush quite well honestly. Our food came out in a timely manner, can't complain.The overall restaurant seemed quite clean...I was only slightly disappointed that my water glass has someone's lipstick still on it. Not a deal breaker, I know this sort of thing happens at restaurants, but it casts a negative light on an otherwise positive experience.

Went here for brunch on the weekend. Good experience and it actually had savory vegetarian option that didn't include eggs which was great.We had the veggie savory crepe and chicken club sandwich. Both were really good. The club sandwich was super filling and the crepe on the lighter side.The staff is great and the ambiance was pretty good too I reckon.If you're on the lookout for a brunch place with a good savory veggie option this might just be the one :

Service was quick and friendly. Spacious place and has many tables. The food was just okay. My colleague and I were looking for a breakfast place that was opened and Eggspectation was around. We got the omelet and breakfast poutine. Poutine was very filling and the omelet was average at best.
