Casa Portugaise - Lachine

Cosy and really nice. Really loved the place. Eating is good. We have to get back to try the Bifanas.

I enjoyed the chicken and the ribs. Order a large part and then ask for doggy bag. Had Calimari as a starter (but I'm not a fan of her version they use). Crab cakes were better. Sardines were good and would reorder after my guest. Portuguese wine (5 or 6 choices) on the black board. We had 2 bottles (for 4 Pax). Wine prices were only Ok prices for a rest. It is a good quality meal without expectation of waiting staff (they are friendly, not formal, not transferred). Eggcake for dessert were a great finish. The night I'm here. Will return.

Soup, octopus and dessert were very good. The main rupture was somewhat more difficult than I expected (medium rare) and the chicken was too dry. I don't know if I'd go back.

Cool restaurant, right by the water. Very delicious food, not something you can get anywhere. The combination plate is particularly good. Good service. Go back.

I liked sangria, seafood and dessert, my husband had beef with homemade potato chips and it was average, a chiken we ordered for our kid was burnt. But we are not coming back to this because of the service, it was very unpleasant experience.
