One of my favorite fly-in breakfast places. Service is always prompt, but don't be surprised if you have to wait for a table on a Sunday at peak brunch time. The carnitas skillet is really good, and the biscuits with guava jelly are to die for. View all feedback.
This is one of my favorite spots for a breakfast flight. The service is consistently quick, but be prepared for a wait for a table if you arrive on a Sunday during peak brunch hours. The carnitas skillet is excellent, and the biscuits with guava jelly are absolutely delicious.
This restaurant is quite expensive. I paid $15.00 for two eggs, two slices of bacon, toast, and a cup of coffee. They charge $3.50 for just a cup of coffee, which is steep considering that other places in town only charge $2.00. Soft drinks and tea are also overpriced at $4.00. While the waitress was polite and provided good service, the coffee pricing is unacceptable. I can't believe a small cup of coffee costs that much, and to make matters worse, my first cup had coffee grounds in it. We also didn’t receive a menu to check coffee prices until after we asked for one. It's frustrating to see breakfast priced so high; it seems like restaurants are making dining out unaffordable. I understand that costs are rising, but this approach is driving customers away. I worry that if prices continue to climb like this, many establishments will go out of business. As for the claim that costs have gone up by 400%, if that were true, businesses would not survive. It's concerning to see many local businesses struggling because of the high cost of dining out!
I usually take a bunch of photos of what we eat, but we were all so hungry we couldn't wait lol. Everything we ordered was great. This was our first visit here and will be coming back when in town. We had the buffalo wrap, a cheese burger that wasn't just a frozen patty like many restaurants use, philly sandwich that tasted just like a cattleman's steak, load fries, a Cuban, and some fried green tomatoes. The fried green tomatoes had a nice fried breaded coating that wasn't corn meal. These are some of the best I've had and we've even had them at the Whistle stop cafe in Georgia. Id give them an overall 4/5. If they were a touch thinner, my personal preference, I would have give them a 5/5. Our waitress was very attentive and on top of the refills. We never felt like we were being ignored. We didn't have room for the desserts there, but we did walk out with some baked goods to try when we get home. They have a variety of cupcakes, brownies, cookies, pastries, and muffins...so save room for some sweets or be sure to take some with you! Oh and their hot chocolate is so chocolatey and made my kids day. Parking: No trouble finding parking. Kid-friendliness: Kid menu options on the back of the menu. Nice selection of chicken tenders, Mac n cheese, pb n j, pork snacker, quesadilla. Come with a side and drink for $8. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramp available.
I really enjoy dining here. Everything not only looks appealing but also tastes amazing! It’s always a challenge to choose what to order because I want to try everything!
Sarah was our waitress very friendly and makes you smile or laugh.
