The parasol is one of my folding and trusting restaurants when I come to the area. I know that I will find the constancy, good service and varied and well prepared meals based on an acceptable budget. the restaurant also offers well-presented formulas on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings, one called "workers' specials". That's what I chose, Wednesday night and it was great.

For my money, this is the best restaurant in La Tuque. The food is consistently very good, and served hot. Lots of selection on the menu, nice decor (renovated a few years back), and good staff. Lunch specials are a good deal.
