Description

Aries Café in Wakefield offers a mixed dining experience. Some found the breakfast and coffee offerings to be delicious, while others were disappointed in the quality and presentation of the food. The cozy location by the river and friendly staff added to the appeal, but issues such as cleanliness, pricing, and the need for better signage were noted. The local baked goods received mixed reviews. Overall, Aries Café is a quaint spot with potential, especially for a leisurely coffee break or snack. With improvements in various areas, it could become a must-visit destination in the charming village of Wakefield.

My eggs were overcooked (not over easy), my hash brown potatoes were still raw (not raw raw, but still very hard) and my bacon wasn't crispy like I asked. If you have breakfast after 11am, they charge you $2.00 more per person. I was fine with it, but please serve me a decent breakfast. The coffee was really good, but the breakfast (that I didn't eat) left a bad taste in my mouth.

Stopped in here for a coffee while waiting for a friend at an appointment. The Americano was good as was the small breakfast we had. It's not fancy but it meets your need for coffee, pastries and breakfast.

I've whiled away many an afternoon, chilling on the patio or inside using the wifi with a relaxing view of the lake / covered bridge across the road.

We were visiting at the nearby ski hill and slipped into town for a coffee and a quick bite to eat. Not being from the area the most confusing part was where could we park. After that was solved we went in. The coffee was fresh and very good and the bistro type menu was interesting and the food superb. The place looks a little run down but as a ski hill escape it was great.

Located on Main Street in Wakefield, Quebec, this small cafe has a rustic charm with patio tables made from sliced tree trunks. The menu includes options for breakfast and lunch, such as vegan waffles with homemade strawberry jam and pure Quebec maple syrup, as well as a Pork panini with banana ketchup, sautéed mushrooms, and caramelized onions. The cafe is a pleasant spot to stop on a summer day, and the staff is friendly and efficient.
