Excelente servicio. Rollos increíblemente frescos y sabrosos. Recomiendo encarecidamente comer allí.
This place is so good! And one of the only places in La Paz where you can get quality sushi not covered in cream cheese. The cocktails are amazing too! I loved the jalepeno margartias, wasabi strawberry daquiri, and ginger martinis! Luckily the cocktails weren't overly strong or I'd be hurting this morning after an amazing dinner. The setting is also beautiful and modern, right on the Malecon. Go to the Italian owned gelataria two blocks East for dessert for the cheapest and best gelato I've ever had outside of Italy. Thanks Mahi for existing!
I was curious of this restaurant for some time, hearing a few good opinions and recommendations from friends, but I never had the chance to go until today. To start, the look of the restaurant is very nice, clean, simple, nothing over the top which makes it look stylish, unlike many asian restaurants that tend to put too much effort in decoration, making the place look tacky and cramped. The service was quick and nice, the waiter didn't bother me asking me if I wanted anything else over and over again, he just payed attention and seemed to approach the table in the right time; that's something many other waiters should learn, not to annoy the clients, just pay attention to your table and be ready to step in, nothing more. Now, the food was great, the sushi leaned more toward the traditional flavors instead of smothering the sushi with horrible dressings and creams like many other places do, something I strongly dislike. The menu has plenty of variety without being too extensive, they have good quality products, the food is fresh and the flavors are clean, which is a bit difficult to find is most sushi restaurants because the fish smells or tastes weird (which is a good advice for people who like seafood; if it smells like something else other than salt water or cucumber, it's very likely that's not fresh and you should stay VERY far from it). The only exception was that they didn't have either salmon or tuna, but it's sunday and I'm not too picky so I didn't mind as much, the fish I got was still delicious and very fresh. Everything tasted great and for the amount of food I ate I found the price very reasonable. I'm certainly going back.
