This typical Mexican restaurant is only open Friday through Sunday until 5:30PM and serves a selection of local dishes. Our favourite is their speciality of carnitas (pulled pork) served with tortillas, guacamole, nopal salad and beans. The best carnitas in the city, in the riverbed of the chapala tourist city. a must if they want a cheap meal to a great worth.

A very popular roadside restaurant serving authentic excellent Mexican food at weekends. It is our favourite lunch place on Sundays, where we always have their signature Carnitas (pulled pork), served with beans, guacamole, nopal salad and tortillas. In addition, there is always a selection of...some 8-12 salsas of different “heat” ratings. Their beers are cold but beware of their margaritas!
