Resto Tandem - La Malbaie

This restaurant is a hidden gem! The food was amazing, the view stunning, and the ambiance was cozy and intriguing. The service was incredibly welcoming and friendly. I will definitely be returning. It's clear that these people have a true passion for their craft.

What a delightful spot! The atmosphere is charming with its quaint décor in a historic building. The food was phenomenal, top-notch quality and absolutely delicious. The chowder, boar sausages, cocktails, and homemade volcano dessert were all outstanding. Our server was entertaining, sassy, and had loads of personality. We felt like taking him home as a memento of our visit. Be sure to book a reservation in advance!

My experience at Resto Tandem was absolutely wonderful. Located just a short 10-minute walk from the Fairmont Charlevoix, this restaurant exceeded all of our expectations. The food was incredible, from the Fried Calamari appetizer to the Lamb Tajine and Pork Osso Bucco main courses. The kids loved their Lasagna and lobster mac'n cheese, declaring it the best food they've ever eaten. The service provided by Stefan was exceptional, making our meal even more special with his impeccable service and great rapport with the kids. The French charm of the restaurant's decor, along with the music, added to our overall enjoyment. In comparison to another restaurant we dined at the following evening, Le Saint-Laurent, Resto Tandem came out on top in every aspect. I highly recommend making a reservation at Resto Tandem if you're in the area - it truly is a gem of a restaurant.

Nearly every place in town was completely shut down, but when I called, the maître d? promised to stay open for me. After a long drive, it was exactly what I needed. The staff are sweet and kind, bringing out special surprises that you didn?t evenorder. Although the portions are on the smaller side, the quality is through the roof. Try their lobster mac cheese. You willnot be disappointed.

Definitely a must try at Malbaie. I was attracted by the cozy environment of the restaurant when I passed by and I was really glad I made the stop and had a meal there. The restaurant is run by incredibly nice people and who really put the experience ofcustomers on priority. You can tell from all those little details of how they served the food and how amazing the food is. Allthe ingredients are local and it really brings out the special flavor of Charlevoix. The decorations at the restaurant are verynice and cozy, we went during Christmas and it looks definitely Christmasy and cute. Food is impeccable, period. We ordered thebeef cheek and the spaghetti, the beef is extremely tender and it just melted in your mouth. The lamb meat balls and thesanglier sausage on the spaghetti are so amazing. Moreover, the spaghetti sauce just tastes homemade and it's the chef's familyrecipe. Dessert is absolutely a nice surprise and the casis coco cake is so special.
