Cote Est in Kamouraska offers a mixed dining experience. While the location and ambiance are picturesque and charming, the food falls short of expectations for some. With some dishes being unbalanced, small portions, or not meeting taste expectations, the overall dining experience can be disappointing. However, the unique menu options, beautiful views, and welcoming staff make it a place worth checking out if you find yourself in this quaint Quebec town. Whether enjoying the view during breakfast, lunch, or dinner, Cote Est provides a dining experience that combines local charm with varying degrees of culinary success.

I am only reviewing the coffee at this restaurant. I would give the coffee itself 3 stars as it was not very good. It was boiling hot and tasted like water. However, the ambiance and views are impressive, earning them an extra star. The food menu looked promising and all tables were reserved for the evening, indicating that the food must be good. If you are looking for good food, I recommend checking this place out. But if you are seeking a good coffee, you may want to try elsewhere.

Great place by the water with outdoor and indoor seating. The back patio has a reduced menu but everything is delicious.

The boutique inside this place has a wonderful selection of Quebec designer goods very nicely curated. Although we didn't stop at the restaurant, we took a look at the patio lovely.

Simple short menu of innovative dishes made from locally sourced ingredients that are expertly prepared. Your choice of beautiful bar/dining room in a historical building or outdoor terrace with a stunning view of the St Lawrence river and Kamouraska islands. Top it off with the warm and friendly hosts Kim and Perle! A must stop if you are in the area.

The restaurant has lovely indoor and outdoor seating options. The menu features delicious dishes with a local flare, and they also serve local beers and ciders.
