In the entrance my spouse took the boiled seafood and I the thousand-sheets of calf ris. It was just exquisite. for the dish my husband took the seafood linguines and me the shrimp with the tuscan. everything was just fine and very good at taste. one little disappointment the base of the boiler and that of the inguines was the same so no surprise, even for my risotto dish and even purée. for dessert my husband is let temptation speak pudding of my grandmother and her cream with maple syrup. I couldn't finish my dish, I was already more than repus.
From the friendly owner and staff to the rich family history on the walls of this quaint house, dining at Bistro Le Patriarche feels like going home to a five star bistro. Then there's the food. The soup: pureed rutabaga, carrots, and celery root finished with a dollop of creme fraiche. The main: plump medallions of boeuf, cradled by an earthy mushroom truffle, could only be upstaged by the treasured foie gras topping that melted over the meat. We also enjoyed a beautifully cooked rack of lamb with port sauce. An amazing experience we'd love to have again.
Everything is almost perfect, the atmosphere, the place, the service and especially the food! We literally loved all the dishes from the entrance to the dessert. We're going back with friends in September.
It was during a time of a misbeaty that we discovered via the internet, this bistro jewelry of about 25 places that only serves the dinner meal. So a reservation is made. in a particularly quiet Friday night, my wife and I were looking for a place where we could enjoy a meal of mussels in a tranquil way
Excellent service, excellent food, very generous portions. ate for $50 in the table d'hôte a thigh of canard confite, and in entrance for me a salmon tartare and my chum of the goat... all was excellent and the really beautiful presentations. we can change the dessert for the soup of the day...the pottery of organic vegetables of charlevoix was also delicious.
