Was Andrea Rose at Fatuma a mag?
I stumbled upon this restaurant after noticing their sign advertising a special. I was intrigued by the promise of Somalian cuisine, something I had never tried before. Upon entering, I was welcomed with a delightful hot black tea with milk and sugar. I decided to order the salmon with rice and salad, and it was simply delicious. The rice was slow-cooked with fragrant clove and bay leaf, while the salmon was lightly... View all feedback.

What Carmella Schmeler dislikes about Fatuma:

The food was excellent, with generous portion sizes. The prices were reasonable, and I appreciated that it offered Halal options.

11/06/2021: I am pleased to reopen Fatuma. Although a new owner and menu items are slightly reduced, the taste is still great. Sumali Mediterranean food flavor is one of the best among all Mediterranean countries and Fatuma lives to promise. Her rice is excellent with great aroma, meat is well cooked, meat is cooked in great tasting spices, but not hot, and finally her food also adds vegetables. I love her Wasla Kebabs and Gyros.

I highly recommend the chicken steak and spaghetti combo; it's a fantastic choice for lunch or dinner. While the staff can take a bit of time, the wait is definitely worth it, as the chicken is cooked to perfection and pairs wonderfully with the sambusa noodles. They recently remodeled the restaurant, and both the food and the ambiance are impressive! Food rating: 5/5.
