an excellent restaurant, wonderful eating and great staff, but it is away ****, a shame that the rat house did not know how to get it, it is right over the grass towards the house door of the rat house, down a track to. a beautiful landscape garden. excellent menu mark 22 euro for me, g had the 33euro menu, all stylish presentations served with gnade. We were recommended to this restaurant by the accommodation owners, where we stayed on our family trip to France. the restaurant is hidden, but as soon as we found the entrance, it was a very nice walk through the garden to the sitting area in the open. we had. a party of 9 including 2 under 4’s and booked for 7 pm when they opened for the evening, it was very quiet, but the staff was friendly and helpful. they also spoke some English that was a relief, as our French was limited despite the pocket dictionary! we had looked at the menu online to translate (the menu is only in French language), so we knew what to expect for the three courses, but there were a few unexpected between the curses that were amazing. the food was enjoyed by all who was a bit of a surprise, as a few in our party have very basic English taste, although are ready to taste other foods. the huge cheese car was greeted by everyone! we had asked for something for the children, we beat chips and veg that are included on the menu because they obviously wouldn't eat what is on the whole menu. we said they didn't, but they would get something more fitting. unnecessary to say it was gourmet and fortunately between them there was something they could eat, as this could have meant two hungry children if they are more restless than they are. the desserts were some delicious sorbets. the price for the child meal was amazingly low for what they got. this restaurant is definitely worth the money and a visit. we were careful when we saw the set menu cost per person, but are very satisfied that we did. it was a nice experience as well as eating devine.
After I had set myself, I asked if they had a vegetarian menu and said I should have told them at the time of booking. that didn't make us much easier. we had a discussion about which we should be chosen and asked the sommelier. to meet the choice for us. he said good; but as one of the members of our party was curious what this choice could be, he received the answer: I don't know. When it finally arrived, we were almost ready to start. Moreover, our designated driver was taken back a bit when a glass was placed in front of her, with the comment that it was her detoxification drink. we couldn't work out when he tried to be funny, in what case it didn't work, or he was just brutal. during the meal we got the usual imagination about what the ingredients were; but by the time of dessert the tellers were simply beaten before us without any comments. eating deserves her Michelin star; but given service is part of the accolade, I am surprised that they have it.
I found this place by chance. we stayed in the village and the only other eating place was a pizza away that had no eating on the day we called. l’hysope was full on Saturday, so we booked for Tuesday to find that we were the only diner. no problem and the service was fabulous. I will not describe it differently than it was absolutely exquisite as we had never tasted. we are very fussy about where we eat and have eaten very well in past, but that was out. my suggestion: bury them at home or sell their children whatever is necessary to eat in this restaurant. be prepared: it is only a little difficult to find and a meal for 2 with wein costs us about £130. but it was so unforgettable.

The vast cheese trolley was welcomed by all!!We had asked for something for the kids, we suggested chips and veg which feature on the menu, because they obviously wouldn't eat what's on the full menu. We were told they couldn't have that but would be given something suitable. Needless to say it was gourmet and luckily between them there was something they could each eat as this could have meant two hungry children if they were more fussy than they are. I won't describe the food other than it was absolutely exquiste, the like of which we had never tasted before.
