Parador De Cazorla - La Iruela

I cant think that anyone visits this restaurant who is not staying in the Parador- that is not a reflection of the qulaity of food. Simply its location in a remote wooded area. Rustic decor and a menu that also reflects local ingredients and traditional dishes. Menu a little Pork centric but top quality. The rabbit was wonderful and I had visions of it being bagged very locally. Service was quite formal. Disappointing desserts but that is not unusual for Spain. Some lovely wines.

Wonderful- yes a bit aged and tired around edges but it is pure escapism here. Great food too. Lovely premises amd comfortable rooms.

Parador situado en plena Sierra de Cazorla a unos 40 minutos del pueblo con ese mismo nombre. Es un magnífico alojamiento y el servicio en todas sus facetas, muy profesional y de gran amabilidad. Desde el propio Parador salen varias rutas de senderos. Muy recomendable.

We enjoyed two lunches on the terrace of the restaurant of the stops, and I say we enjoyed it because it was, from the views, to the time, food and tranquility were perfect. food in quantity suitable to the price and with good cooked and taste. the correct service but without excesses.
