The food is nice, although meat dishes are 90% meat and only 10% vegetables. The service was hit and miss; the young girl seemed disinterested and was actually on the phone whilst taking our drinks order but the young lad was excellent and attentive to our needs. The food was good, perhaps lacking on the additions (one small roasted potato and a Padrón pepper on a few slices of courgette) but not as great as we had been expecting. Also, it was quite warm inside so we asked for the ceiling fan to be switched on; another couple arrived and it was switched off. So the temperature rose again, making us feel quite uncomfortable so we skipped dessert and coffee and left for air. Disappointed. It should have been a better experience.

The staff was great, and since we were after high season, the place was not crowded which made the experience more enjoyable. We had to leave the next day, and it was a difficult choice to not stay for lunch and enjoy a round of the incredible burgers for the entire family. If you want to have a great meal in Cazorla, this is the place!

Excellent house red wine (Ribero). Order taken quickly and while we were waiting, we were served two very tasty and well-preserved tapas, one of which was an excellent salmon tartare. I had eaten wild boar the night before so I went for the duck breast, while my wife had the lamb cutlets, both of which were served with vegetables, again well-presented. Good portions. Very pleasant ambience, service attentive without being invasive. Excellent value. Will definitely come back next time we are in Cazorla.
